Repairing Canon Printer MP 280 or Error 287 B500 P07 - Now, I will discuss about the damage to the Canon mp 280 287 printer which has an error P07. If you look at computer and laptop screens, you will see error B500. but, first I will explain first the cause of this damage. then then we will fix the error.

Cause

This damage occurs because the detection of waste ink in the printer has reached the maximum limit. if left unchecked it will cause the ink in the printer to overflow (like water that is full and then refill it until it spills). there is also another cause is the sensor on the cartridge has a short circuit. The damage starts from full ink to the sensor on the cartridge. now you know the cause of the damage. let's move on to the repair part.

Based on my experience in fixing the problem. actually quite easy. The first thing we have to do is the following:

Remove the cartridge from the printer and plug it in again

The first way we do is remove the cartridge from the printer and turn it off. then turn it on again and put the cartridge back in. if that doesn't work, turn it off again and then plug in the cartridge in a state that the printer is dead. after that turn on and test your printer again.

Reset the printer

Turn off the printer first (if it is turned on). Press and hold the power button on your printer. then press the stop / reset button 6 times, look at the printer alarm light, if you do it right, the alarm light will blink every time you press it 2x. So the total number of lights that must be lit is 3 times. after that release the two buttons and let the printer do the cleaning process until the printer screen shows the number 0 or 1.

Then press the black and white print button. when finished press the button print colorful again. after both processes are complete. turn off the printer and then turn it back on. if it doesn't turn on, unplug the printer, wait a few minutes, then plug it in again.

Enter service mode then reset the printer

This third method requires the material used to reset the printer. In order to enter service mode, use the same method as step number 2. So after you have successfully entered service mode, use this material to reset your Canon printer.

Those are the three powerful ways to fix a Canon MP 280/287 printer with error P07 or B500. I hope this method can solve the damage to your printer.
