For those of you who are or have experienced Error P10 on Canon MP258, iP2770 (B200), MP287, here I will tell you the solution.
Errors are due to part failure in general, and it could be due to a power supply that lacks power, there is a mainboard component that doesn't work, it could be due to bord on the carried unit, and it could also be because the cartridge is short.
Here's how:
1. First check whether the cartridge has a problem (can be black or color cartridges) to be more sure, try checking on another printer which is still normal
2. Change the power supply. In this replacement, the average printer that I have repaired does not last long and often relapses again, although some are ok. Tips from me after replacing PS do not immediately turn on the printer, leave it for a few hours (want to turn it off for 1 or 2 days it's up to you) then turn on the printer again. as a note: actually the old ps that you have replaced is still ok, if you are not sure, please install and try it on another printer which is still normal. And after a normal printer, you can still plug the PS back into the original printer without having to replace the PS.
3. Replace the carrier unit (cartridge holder) rarely and frankly I have never handled the P10 case by replacing these spare parts.
4. And the last one is the heaviest, namely the Mainboard, which is expensive, it is difficult to find the item. But this is the most frequent malfunction and is quite complicated to fix. But for the technicians, don't worry about the damaged Mainboard can still be repaired. For more details, please download and see the tutorial steps below.
This damage occurs because of the shock current from the Power Supply voltage. Rather than confused, it's better to just go ahead.
Usually occurs on Canon iP2770 with indicators:
1. blank
2. In Save Mode Cannot
3. Reset with the old version and the new Resetter does not work
4. Printer just silent / no reaction / blank continues ..
Also common on the Canon MP 258 / MP287 with indicators:
1. Error Code P10.
2. In Save Mode Cannot
3. Reset with the old version and the new Resetter does not work
4. The printer only reacts (shakes) once Direct Error P10
5. Sometimes the printer is just silent / no reaction
Directly to the DAMAGE target found on Maindboard and there is no need to rush to replace new ones.
1. Check the fuser (F) in MB. (Jumper Adja)
2. Check R861 (usually cuts / breaks.) (Just change .. But the same)
3. Check R752 (Often burns) (Change the same)
4.Check the path between the Fuser (F) to (IC) and R168 (Line breaks due to fire)
5. There are other components that are often and easily damaged but the ones that often occur are damage numbers 1 - 4
ATTENTION: If you want to replace the elements that I mentioned above. Try to keep the elements the same, because if the size is different, it can change to another place.
Effect if it fails or incorrectly pairs / does not match the Element:
1. Elmen to the IC line will be broken ..
2. IC 101 & IC 102 will die and cause other error effects such as P22 / P20 / P06 / E05 / P07 / P00
