How to solve the 5100 error on Canon printer

Now everything that was once hassle and time-consuming to do is now faster and easier. No exception in the world of printing which is now in great demand by various groups. Lately, there are a lot of printers that can be owned and used. The most popular is the printer made by Canon, besides being known for its products in the form of cameras, this Japanese electronics manufacturer is also a printer whose quality is no less good than its camera.

But the name is also man-made, there will definitely be errors or errors that can occur when using a Canon printer. One that often happens is the Error 5100 Notification.

You can't use the printer to print, like this is a sign of error 5100:
  • The printer is in normal condition but cannot be used for printing.
  • The resume and power light are flashing.
  • The 5100 error warning notification appears on the monitor.

How to solve the 5100 error on Canon printer

It is quite annoying to have an error 5100 on this Canon printer. But take it easy, because there is a way to overcome Canon Printer Error 5100 which is guaranteed to work very well. You only need to do a few steps like the following:

The movement of the cartridge housing is interrupted by the infusion hose

First you have to confirm the printer first, then open the printer and make sure the movement of the hose is normal or not. If the movement of the hose is not normal, reset it so that the IV can move normally and do not interfere anymore.

Dirty Catridge Chip

After turning off the printer, please open the cathrit cap. Then remove the cathrite and pay attention to the existing brass. If something is dirty or rusted, please do the cleaning using alcohol or mineral water.

Enter Foreign Objects

Turn off the printer and then open the printer casing using a screwdriver plus. Don't forget to remove the infusion tube and the ink holder first. After that, look for the disturbing foreign object.

Take it to the Printer Service

If you have done the three methods above and have not succeeded. Maybe you should bring your Canon printer to a printer service repairman. There may be some components repaired or even some components that are damaged and need to be replaced.

Good luck!

Repairing Canon Printer MP 280 or Error 287 B500 P07

Repairing Canon Printer MP 280 or Error 287 B500 P07 - Now, I will discuss about the damage to the Canon mp 280 287 printer which has an error P07. If you look at computer and laptop screens, you will see error B500. but, first I will explain first the cause of this damage. then then we will fix the error.

Cause

This damage occurs because the detection of waste ink in the printer has reached the maximum limit. if left unchecked it will cause the ink in the printer to overflow (like water that is full and then refill it until it spills). there is also another cause is the sensor on the cartridge has a short circuit. The damage starts from full ink to the sensor on the cartridge. now you know the cause of the damage. let's move on to the repair part.

Based on my experience in fixing the problem. actually quite easy. The first thing we have to do is the following:

Remove the cartridge from the printer and plug it in again

The first way we do is remove the cartridge from the printer and turn it off. then turn it on again and put the cartridge back in. if that doesn't work, turn it off again and then plug in the cartridge in a state that the printer is dead. after that turn on and test your printer again.

Reset the printer

Turn off the printer first (if it is turned on). Press and hold the power button on your printer. then press the stop / reset button 6 times, look at the printer alarm light, if you do it right, the alarm light will blink every time you press it 2x. So the total number of lights that must be lit is 3 times. after that release the two buttons and let the printer do the cleaning process until the printer screen shows the number 0 or 1.

Then press the black and white print button. when finished press the button print colorful again. after both processes are complete. turn off the printer and then turn it back on. if it doesn't turn on, unplug the printer, wait a few minutes, then plug it in again.

Enter service mode then reset the printer

This third method requires the material used to reset the printer. In order to enter service mode, use the same method as step number 2. So after you have successfully entered service mode, use this material to reset your Canon printer.

Those are the three powerful ways to fix a Canon MP 280/287 printer with error P07 or B500. I hope this method can solve the damage to your printer.

Ink is full but not detected on Epson printers, why?

Ink is full but not detected on Epson printers, why? - Sometimes when you want to use the printer, there will be a notification that the ink is absent or empty. After you check it, it turns out that there is still a lot of ink in the cartridge and enough to execute the command that was sent. How to handle it?

The way to solve this problem is to reset or restart the existing system on the Epson printer. Reset functions to return the system to its original settings with an indicator that the ink is full again.

You can do this manually by turning it off and on again. Wait until the restart is complete, then press the ink button for 5 seconds. Release and press again, then hold for 3 seconds.

How to solve ink jams in EPSON printers

How to solve ink jams in EPSON printers - Want to finish a job that has “tight” deadlines of course makes you rush to finish it immediately. But if what happens when we want to print, the ink in the printer doesn't even come out. Usually because the ink is jammed so that the printed output looks blurry and even only produces a blank sheet of paper

The fix starts with paying attention to all the ink in the cartridge. Have you filled it or it is empty. You can also see it in the Epson driver software itself to make sure whether the ink matches the indicators provided or not.

In addition, try to pay attention to the printer head. Possible clogged which keeps the ink from coming out or the printer head is indeed not suitable for use. If so, you are forced to replace it.

How to fix Error P10 on Canon MP258, iP2770 (B200), MP287

For those of you who are or have experienced Error P10 on Canon MP258, iP2770 (B200), MP287, here I will tell you the solution.

Errors are due to part failure in general, and it could be due to a power supply that lacks power, there is a mainboard component that doesn't work, it could be due to bord on the carried unit, and it could also be because the cartridge is short.

Here's how:

1. First check whether the cartridge has a problem (can be black or color cartridges) to be more sure, try checking on another printer which is still normal
2. Change the power supply. In this replacement, the average printer that I have repaired does not last long and often relapses again, although some are ok. Tips from me after replacing PS do not immediately turn on the printer, leave it for a few hours (want to turn it off for 1 or 2 days it's up to you) then turn on the printer again. as a note: actually the old ps that you have replaced is still ok, if you are not sure, please install and try it on another printer which is still normal. And after a normal printer, you can still plug the PS back into the original printer without having to replace the PS.
3. Replace the carrier unit (cartridge holder) rarely and frankly I have never handled the P10 case by replacing these spare parts.
4. And the last one is the heaviest, namely the Mainboard, which is expensive, it is difficult to find the item. But this is the most frequent malfunction and is quite complicated to fix. But for the technicians, don't worry about the damaged Mainboard can still be repaired. For more details, please download and see the tutorial steps below.

This damage occurs because of the shock current from the Power Supply voltage. Rather than confused, it's better to just go ahead.

Usually occurs on Canon iP2770 with indicators:

1. blank
2. In Save Mode Cannot
3. Reset with the old version and the new Resetter does not work
4. Printer just silent / no reaction / blank continues ..

Also common on the Canon MP 258 / MP287 with indicators:

1. Error Code P10.
2. In Save Mode Cannot
3. Reset with the old version and the new Resetter does not work
4. The printer only reacts (shakes) once Direct Error P10
5. Sometimes the printer is just silent / no reaction

Directly to the DAMAGE target found on Maindboard and there is no need to rush to replace new ones.

1. Check the fuser (F) in MB. (Jumper Adja)
2. Check R861 (usually cuts / breaks.) (Just change .. But the same)
3. Check R752 (Often burns) (Change the same)
4.Check the path between the Fuser (F) to (IC) and R168 (Line breaks due to fire)
5. There are other components that are often and easily damaged but the ones that often occur are damage numbers 1 - 4

ATTENTION: If you want to replace the elements that I mentioned above. Try to keep the elements the same, because if the size is different, it can change to another place.

Effect if it fails or incorrectly pairs / does not match the Element:
1. Elmen to the IC line will be broken ..
2. IC 101 & IC 102 will die and cause other error effects such as P22 / P20 / P06 / E05 / P07 / P00

How to Overcome an Offline Printer Being Ready (Online)

How to Overcome an Offline Printer Being Ready (Online) - Have you ever wanted to print, but the printer did not respond to print? Even though the printer position is on. If so, it is likely that your printer is offline. Then how do you deal with offline printers being ready (online) again so that they can be used for printing as usual. Even though at first glance this is a trivial matter, if you don't know how to solve it it will also confuse people, you know, especially if you are in a hurry to use the printer to print.

How to Overcome an Offline Printer Being Ready (Online)

The solution for dealing with offline printers, so they can't be used. Here are some ways you can do it. This method applies to all types of printers on the market, be it Epson printers, Canon printers, HP, Brother, and other brands.

Make sure the Printer Power Indicator Light is ON

First and foremost, make sure your printer indicator light is ON or on. Because if the printer is in the off position, it must be in offline mode, so make sure the printer's power position is on.

Printer Cable Connected Perfectly to Laptop or Computer

For how to deal with offline printers so that you can use printing, make sure the printer cable is connected perfectly from the printer to the laptop or computer. Do not let the cable connect, but loose / not fully embedded. Therefore, make sure that the connector cable from the printer to the computer is plugged in perfectly.

To make sure your printer connector cable is not a problem, try using another normal / new printer connector cable. If you use another printer connector cable you can, it means that the problem is in your printer connector cable, but if you try to use another cable that is still normal / new it still can't mean another problem that caused the printer to go offline.

Move the USB Printer Port

Another way you can try is to please move the position of the USB port on your laptop or computer. It could be that the real problem is in the usb port available on the laptop / computer.

Also read:

The last way to deal with offline printers to be ready you can do, if you make sure that the 3 methods above are not problematic, is to check the printer settings, so that the printer can be used as before, the printer must be in the ready status.

For windows 7, open the Start menu and click on the “Devices and Printers” icon. As for Windows 10 users, please go to control panel >> Devices and Printers. This will open a new window, which contains a list of printers.

Double-click on the icon for the printer you wish to turn online. there is a printer window select and click documents in queue or see what's printing.

On the see what's printing page. Click on the "Printer" menu in the menu bar and uncheck "Use Printer Offline or Use a Printer Offline." This action will change the printer from offline to ready / online.

That was how to deal with offline printers being ready, which I think is very easy to practice for those of you who are experiencing a similar fate. Good luck.

The Wind Enters the Printer Infusion, How to Solve it?

The Wind Enters the Printer Infusion, How to Solve it? - Most people nowadays use Canon or Epson brand ink printers, although there are also people who use other brands of printers such as HP or Lexmark. Not infrequently when buying a new printer people modify it by adding ink infusions, so that to refill the ink you don't need to bother anymore. Infusion technology on the printer makes it easy to refill ink. because we no longer need to buy a new cartridge when it runs out of ink or bother injecting a printer cartridge which makes dirty hands and faces.

Not infrequently when the old printer is not used, suddenly the wind gets into the infusion tube which causes the ink not to come out properly. And sometimes there is a problem, namely the presence of air bubbles in the infusion tube, so the ink can't get into the cartridge, and eventually the color doesn't come out.

How to Solve it?

There are 3 tips that I offer to solve this problem, including:

1. Take it to a repairman, pay and be sure to be right again.
then what if you don't have money?
2. Disassemble the cartridge, disassemble the hose, keep injecting the ink until it is full and the wind is gone. This method is likely 50:50, if it doesn't work, then it's a complete failure, aka the infusion system can't be used anymore. In the end, back again to number 1.
3. The third tip, and the safest (almost without risk and cost) is the deep head cleaning method.

The ways are as follows:

1. Place the printer in its original position or at normal time / before the damage (usually the printer is higher than the IV, or the printer is parallel to the IV).
2. turn on the printer, connect it to a computer / laptop, then right click on the printer and select Printing Preferences then select Maintenance then there is an option for Deep Cleaning.
3. Select the Deep Cleaning option for about 10 to 20 times until the bubbles on the IV are gone. or it could be more than 20 times, just this third step is repeated until the bubbles disappear. because during Deep Cleaning the printer will automatically suck the ink from the infusion so that the bubbles can come out.
4. and finally, the printer can be used to print again as before.

Risks of Using Deep Cleaning

1.Ink is wasteful because at the time of Deep Clean the ink will be drained, so at least half a bottle. quite economical than having to be taken to a service place.
2. The printer is a little messy, just remember to wipe a little with a tissue when the ink is loose.

I hope the tips are useful.

How to Repair Canon IP 2770 Printer Overcome Lined Printer Print Results

It is very annoying when we find striped printing results and images or writing become dotted. There are several factors that cause this to happen, here are the causes and ways of handling for striped printers. Here we are using the Canon Printer IP 2770 series.

The following causes and how to solve the printed dotted line on Canon IP:

1. Ink flow is not smooth

This could be caused by a leak or deadlock in the IV system. With no smooth flow of ink, the automatic discharge of ink from the cartridge nozzle is also disrupted so that the print results are streaked. Suggestion: use an additional part in the form of an infusion damper so that the ink flow becomes stable and smooth

2. Clogged cartridge head.

Clogged cartridge head can be caused by the printer is rarely used so that the ink clots or maybe the ink head is dirty due to dust. You can use a cartridge suction device, by: applying air pressure to the modified cartridge or injecting air into the cartridge right in the hole above the modified cartridge (pump with a refill injection device)

3. Sensor tape is dirty.

This usually happens when cleaning the cartridge, the location of the cartridge sensor tape is between the cartridge and the cartridge head looks like plastic / mica. Usually when the sensor is dirty it will affect the display / print results that are not good. The solution: clean it using dry tissue, clean all parts.

4. Head Catridge Obsolete

The characteristic is, if the end of the head is attached with a tissue, all the ink colors come out normally, but if it is used for printing, the print results are striped. This indicates that the cartridge head is weak.

A temporary solution is to change the print settings to High or Photo quality. But my suggestion is that the cartridge must be replaced immediately, so that the damage does not spread to the board
That's How to Overcome the Canon IP Printer Striped Print Results

How to Solve a Canon Printer Cannot Print Black

My Canon printer suddenly couldn't print black. Guess why? Then how to fix it? Relax, I'll tell you how.

It's a bit risky actually. But if there is freezing in the head cartridge, try to prepare a little warm water (not hot) in a small plate. Then touch the head to the water, if the ink dissolves, immediately remove the cloth using a tissue, continue to check the paste of the head to the paper, the black comes out, just plug it out into the printer + head cleaning / deep cleaning before use.

Good Luck.

How To Fix Ink Jams On The Printer

Hello. This time I will share How To Fix Ink Jams On The Printer. Here's how

1. Make sure the cartridge contains ink according to its capacity (maybe less, as long as not more).
2. Perform Deep Cleaning several times through the Printer Properties tool.
3. Do a Test Print to see the results.
4. Perform steps 2-3 above several times.
5. If still jammed, clean the cartridge head with a special liquid sold at computer stores.

If there isn't, you can clean it with alcohol. After cleaning, tap the cartridge on the palm of your hand. If there is ink dripping, it means the ink can come out.
Repeat steps 2-3 above.

6. If still jammed, try pumping the cartridge through the ink filling hole slowly until the ink looks out of the cartridge head. Then do the steps 2-3 above again.

7. If it is still jammed, then there are 2 (two) most extreme final steps, namely soaking the Cartridge Head in hot water, and dismantling the cartridge. However, these two steps are not recommended, unless you are desperate, and ready for the risks, "buy a new cartridge".

To soak, provide enough hot water in a wide container. Dip the surface (only the surface, not more) of the cartridge head into the water for about 2-3 seconds. Dry the cartridge head, and do the steps 2-3 above again.

To disassemble the cartridge head, poke the cartridge cover with a knife. Remove the ink absorbent foam, then clean the outlet of the ink with a special liquid that has been prepared.
If the ink looks like jelly on the absorbent foam, remove the foam by soaking it in rubbing alcohol. Do not wring it out so that the shape is not damaged.
Just drain it. After dry, put it back and close the cartridge as before tightly.
Fill the cartridge with ink, then perform steps 2-3 above again.

Good Luck!
